Adverse Weather Procedure
We will always try to open whenever possible during periods of adverse weather, including snowfall.
The decision to close the school will only be made if there are health & safety concerns around students and staff accessing the school site, or for levels of supervision in school.
If possible, the decision about whether the school needs to close will be made as early as possible on the day of closure.
If school needs to close during the school day, parents will be contacted as soon as possible, and supervision will be provided until all students are collected.
All communication with parents will be made via Arbor email and the school website
Bradford Council will also be informed that the school is closed.
Local radio stations (Pulse1 and Greatest Hits Radio West Yorkshire) will broadcast school closures from 7am.
